The brief
Playmob is a start up that connect companies and charities with the socially aware gaming community. So they can give money whilst they play and help a good cause.
The brief was to create a community driven brand that would appeal to the gamer in all of us. My task was to design the logo and illustration creation for various aspects of aspects of the brand.
The creative solution
I approached this with a variety of socially diverse illustrations drawn in a carefree way. Keeping the colours greyscale to keep them on brand with the organisational colour scheme. This was paired with a simple hand illustrated logo to give the feel of a community based project rather than a massive tech company. This has been very successful and is still part of the branding although it has been tweaked. The revised branding can be viewed here.
