The brief
The project was to redesign the existing branding for Macmillan 24 hour gaming fundraising event. The brief involved redesigning the logo, colour palette, patterns and finally build an icon set which is to be used throughout the branding across print and digital.

The creative solution
This involved me looking at the current trends in gaming and apply this thinking method to the new creative. This pushed me into the direction of purple and pink as this is very prominent in the gaming world. I paired it with the use of cubes which was the previous design elements but adding a cheeky use of 8 bit graphics for nostalgia.

These can be seen across social media with a variety of different animated adverts and clips. This has been very successful and the branding has helped the event gain recognition and sign ups have increased by 20% since last year.
